How To Play Blackjack Online – 21 Cards
Online Blackjack can become a little complicated with the different types of bets, however at Luck Casino we’d like to keep it simple. The basic steps of the game are as follows:
- Place your bet in the marked betting area on the table.
- You’ll be dealt two cards by the dealer face up, while the dealer is also dealt two cards, with only one face up.
- At this point, you can add up the values of your own cards and decide if you want to ‘hit’, ‘stay’, or ‘double’. If the dealer has an Ace, you can also place an ‘insurance bet’.
- If your hand of cards is closer to 21 than the dealer, then you win and get your bet money back plus the same amount from the dealer (1:1). If you get a Blackjack, then you win your bet plus 1.5 times more (3:2). If it less than the dealer, then you lose your bet to the dealer. If it is equal to the dealer, then is considered a push and you only get your bet back.
Blackjack Card Values ♤♣
The suit of a card has no impact on the actual value of the card, and all the numbered cards are of face value. So, cards numbered from 2-10 are valued as they are. The King, Queen and Jack are also worth 10. An Ace can be worth either a 1 or an 11, depending on what fits best with your hand. An example of this is, an 8 and an Ace can either total a 9 or 19.
Types of Blackjack Bets

Blackjack Gaming Strategy

- If the value of the dealer’s card is between 4-6, consider doubling your bet.
- If you get a pair of 7s, consider going for a hit if the dealer has an 8, 9, 10, or Ace.
- If the dealers’ cards are good, the player should draw cards until it totals 17 or more.
- If the dealers’ cards are bad, then there would be no reason to draw more cards if your total is 12 or more.
- You should consider splitting if you get a pair of Aces.
